Westerdale Village Hall Facilities

The Hall has three separate blocks, the main Hall, a substantial kitchen, and a toilet block.

Main Hall:
The rectangular Hall is 10.8 m long and 5.0 m wide. It has a wooden floor. There are manually operated electric wall heaters.
There are rectangular folding leg tables, wooden benches and plastic chairs sufficient for the approved capacity of the Hall.

The Kitchen
It is rectangular; 6.5m long by 4.5m wide. There is a big food preparation area. There is an adequate range of equipment and sufficient crockery and cutlery to meet the approved capacity of the Hall.
The first aid box is located in the kitchen.

 Toilets:
Separate male and female toilets with mains water and drainage.
Currently no disabled facility nor separate baby changing facilities.

General Information:
The fire authority has approved the Hall for a capacity of 70 persons.
The Hall does not have a Premises Licence but a Temporary Events Notice can be obtained if required.

The premises have adequate Public Liability and other Insurance and Electricity Certificates.
The Hall does not have building regulation approved disabled access at present although the doors
are wide enough to comply.

The Village Hall is suitable for small to medium sized functions, e.g. Wedding receptions,
Family get-togethers, or for business meetings.

There is no mobile phone service in Westerdale village.
In an emergency [999] the phone box next to the main street could be used.
Note - the phone box no longer accepts coins.
